Trevor mcgrath where is he now

Oh Trev, poor Trev. Veterans season and earn one of five coveted black jackets. As a returnee to the competition, the New York City lead chef did receive one on Season 8 when he came in fourth.

But this time, he was nominated for elimination three times and you know what they say about three strikes. Gordon Ramsay told the four Blue Team members that one of them needs to voluntarily step up and join the men as a leader, given the disastrous mistakes during nearly every dinner service. Rookie Mia Castro one elimination vote , always a go-getter,. It has been quite a holiday break.

Three weeks to be exact. When last we watched Gordon Ramsay suffer another bleep-filled breakdown during dinner service filled with fish flaws and mangled beef wellingtons, it was the all-male Red Team that brought the pink to his angry cheeks.

As a reminder, the remaining Blue Team ladies — Mia Castro. Ariel Contreras-Fox, Heather Williams. No more re-runs. But, no. Ok, he almost always blows his stack at some point. And then there were nine. Rookie Kanae Houston is ticked that Mia blamed her fish woes on her mishandling the set-up of the station.

As noted by Gizzy Barton, this seems deceptively easy. But then, one by one, chefs on both teams leave until there is one man, Motto, and one woman, Ariel Contreras-Fox, left standing. And Gizzy got the boot. Just in time for all our Thanksgiving leftovers to finally be devoured. To jog your memory, especially after consuming all that amino acid tryptophan in the turkey, episode 7 extolled the virtues of teamwork.

O-Mia, O-My-o! After coming in fourth place on season 4, everyone had high hopes for Jen Gavin. When she started fighting Gordon and accusing him of sabotaging her in the middle of service in episode 3, everyone was shocked. She went back to her company, Edible Passport, and to offering private chef services and instruction.

She later express regret for returning to the show, stating she only did it after losing a lot of money when a food truck investment fell through. Chris Mendonca withdrew from competition season 18 episode 6 because his mental health was suffering. And finally, there's Motto. Motto left season 18 episode 14 when he realized his hometown, Baton Rouge, La. Since then, Motto returned to Baton Rouge and his role of executive chef at Mansurs on the Boulevard.

He has also raised plenty of money for local charities hosting cooking events. Source: Reality TV Revisited. Back at the dorms, Ariel told Trev and Jen that there was no leadership on fish that night, but while he argued that he was on it that night, T felt differently and wanted to address the fact that he and Jen could not cook as she did not want a clusterfuck of a nightmare. Later that night, he and Jen believed that they were being underestimated by their team, with the latter telling him that he should have stood up for himself earlier that night, but he said that he was trying to play from his heart for now.

Before the Marine Service Challenge, Trev said that his brother was in the marines. He was on the meat station with Ariel, and was not seen much, except for accusing the latter of sending up a raw steak intentionally when they were close to the finish.

After Bret used his punishment pass, he accused the former of taking the first chance of leaving the veterans behind on their punishment. During dinner service, Trev was on the appetizer station with Kevin. He was slow plating the salmon appetizer, and at one point, Ramsay caught him drinking water instead of continuing to plate the salmon appetizer, got lectured that the customers were more important than staying hydrated, but he felt that he was the whipping boy for the veterans.

Despite that, he and Kevin got their appetizers accepted. Both teams were named joint-winners, and while being dismissed, he knew that Jen eliminated herself for the veterans, and did not want to be associated with her ever again. Back at the dorms, Trev and Mia agreed that they came to cook in front of Ramsay, and believed that he and the latter might make it to the black jackets, while the men at the hot tub would be eliminated soon. Before the Winter Soup Challenge, Trev was paired up with Heather, they were the first pair from the veterans to sled down, and the team won a ten-second head start.

He was the first person from the veterans to have his dish judged, and presented his carrot and coconut soup with Cajun curry shrimp.

The dish was praised for being flavorable and having a beautiful texture but criticized for having no herb taste as the coconut flavor overpowered the overall taste. So, he scored six points and said that it was rough being the first one up as the judges never gave the first dish a perfect score.

The veterans lost the challenge , and they were punished by cleaning all 30 tons of the snow off the front entrance. Back at the dorms, Trev told Bret to suck it up after the latter felt bad about costing them the challenge. During the punishment, he complained that they were lifting about 30 car pounds of snow into wheelbarrows. During prep, Trev was working on the poached eggs, but Sous Chef Jocky told him to scrap the test batch as they were too hard to the touch, and could be overcooked later on.

While he believed that poaching an egg was not that difficult, he went through multiple eggs for multiple batches, and when Roe offered to help him out, he snarkily commented that he should have the entire team helping him out, and was getting tired of getting picked on by Sous Chef Jocky. Despite that, Sous Chef Jocky approved of his poached egg batch, but he told the latter to fuck off in the confessionals. During dinner service, Trev was on the meat station with Kevin.

At one point, he and Kevin argued about seasoning their meat, and Ramsay rejected the steaks for being cold. After, he accused Kevin of trying to be the hero and do the work himself instead of asking himself for help.

Both teams were name joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, he and Kevin were named the nominees, and he hoped that somebody from the rookies did an even worse performance than he and Kevin did. Trev was named the veterans' second nominee for elimination, with Kevin as the first, and they were joined by Chris and Gizzy from the rookies.

During his plea, Ramsay asked him what he actually did that night, which he struggled to answer. He survived elimination as Ramsay reassigned him to the red team with Kevin, they were soon joined by Bret, and they switched with Gizzy, Kanae , and Mia as Ramsay decided to end the Rookies Vs. Veterans team format and bring back the battle of the sexes. While being dismissed, he felt that the change was good for him as it was back to basics.

While he was not happy to initially receive sardines, which he called the seas dirty little cousin, he was shocked when the halibut dropped from the ceiling. During the cooking, he mocked Scotley when the latter asked for food coloring, even mockingly offering that he could try and find finger painting in the back. He received wood-burning oven as his cooking method, was the final person from the red team to have his dish judged, and went up against T, although he said that he did not want anything to do with the latter, and felt confident that his dish was the better of the two.

He made an SMP halibut, he said that he liked to babysit his food while cooking, it was praised for the combination of tomato and arugula, and while he felt that he had the best dish, he lost that round to T. The red team lost the challenge , and they were punished by participating in composting day, which involved mixing all the waste that was accumulated in the 18 seasons of the show and mixing it with manure that would be arriving soon.

During the punishment, Trev said that their situation stunk, and complained that they were going to smell like B. Later, he and Kevin talked about a ski resort the latter owned with his company, leading him to ask why Kevin would come back again if he was already successful. During dinner service, Trev was on the meat station with Bret. After Chris sent up raw scallops, he said that the latter should know better than that. When Scotley was not communicating with Bret, he got annoyed as the former was supposed to be driving the train.

When the red team was sent into the pantry room, he refused to believe that it was over for the red team. The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, he considered Kevin and Scotley for elimination. The next day, he complained that he has been trapped in the dorms for two weeks as he was the only chef to have yet to win a challenge.

During the Potato Challenge, Trev was the second person from the red team to have his dish judged, and went up against Heather. He made a potato fritter with shrimp, and it scored 6 points. During the reward, he said that it was nice to be outside as he was cooped up in the restaurant for too long, and decided to enjoy the time he had. During the Steak Night dinner service, he was on the meat station with Bret.

At one point, he asked Motto what the next table was, but the latter struggled to remember as he was too focused on his garnish. Later, Scotley tried to blamed him for improperly scoring the former's branzinos, he was pissed by that comment, and reminded Scotley that they were supposed to be a team by not blaming each other for their own mistakes.

Near the end of service, Ramsay told him that his cooking on the steaks have been on point all night, which made the latter feel good about that. The red team won the service, and he was happy that the men killed it that night. When the men teased him, he knew that he had to deal with that in both his personal life and during Season 8, but knew that they were teasing him because they were afraid of him.

During the Last Man Standing Challenge, Trev decided to cook the cioppino, and felt that it was one of the easiest dishes of the five to cook. When the chefs began leaving the kitchens, he was pleased as that meant he would get to shine more.

He was the fourth and final person from the red team to leave their kitchen, and soon after, he tried to communicate with Motto on what to do. He was the final person from the red team to have his dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Mia. The red team lost the challenge , and they were punished by participating in delivery day, and shucking corn and peas. Before dismissing them, Ramsay asked Trev to plate the fish for the cioppino dish, and it only took one second to do so.

During the punishment, he noticed that he was starting to break out in an allergic reaction, and Sous Chef Christina told him to see the medic. However, Scotley was unsympathetic to his plight, accused him of trying to excuse himself from costing the men the challenge, and was called a baby girl.

However, he annoyingly told Scotley to shut the fuck up, got some gel from the medic, and jokingly believed that he was allergic to the multiple punishments. When he came back, Scotley continued to call him baby girl, but he told the latter to grow up as it was not high school.

Because Trev was the fourth and final person from the red team to leave their kitchen in the previous challenge, he was exempted from participating in the Cook For Your Life Challenge, and he was happy that he was safe for trusting his own gut.

Back at the dorms, he expressed confidence that Jose would be safe, before saying that either Bret or Scotley would be going home, even though he wanted the latter gone more for being both arrogant and a bully. Later, he got amused by Bret's lecture to Mia. During the Tilly Sweet 16 Planning Challenge, Trev admitted that he was not looking forward to cooking for millennials, and wondered if he was getting old. He made broccoli and bok choy masala, and while was praised for the coconut flavor and not being overly spicy, it was not added onto the menu, making him comment that trying to impress a year-old girl never worked for him.

After hearing that, he complained that he has only left the restaurant once before, and believed that he was going to turn out like Quasimodo.

During the Tilly Sweet 16 dinner service, Trev was on the garnish station. At one point, Scotley asked him how much garlic he was putting into the spinach, but he ignored him as he felt that Scotley was talking at him and not to him. He was not called into the blue kitchen as he was working on desserts, and the red team won the service. While going back to the dorms, Trev claimed that he could see the cracks form within the blue team.

During the Chinese Cuisine Challenge, Trev went up against Mia from the blue team, and he picked pork tenderloin as their protein. During the cooking, he and Scotley got into another argument due to his attempt at leadership and was called a motor mouth by the latter.

He was the first person from the red team to have his dish judged, and presented his spiced rubbed pork tenderloin. While it was praised for the spices, Shirley Chung felt it did not come off as an authentic Chinese dish, with the pork being dry as well.

He lost that round to Mia, and he admitted to being worried about the latter. The red team lost the challenge , and Trev complained that while the women were getting all the rewards, the only one he got was the safari reward.

They were punished by baking fortune cookies, and stuffing the fortunes inside them. During the punishment, he got pissed when Scotley did not help out on cutting the fortunes, saying that half-assing the punishment would not fly.

When Scotley wanted to boil some eggs for a snack, he got annoyed as those eggs were supposed to be for the cookies and accused the former of caring only for himself. However, that led to an argument between the two as he feared that the negative energy would affect them come dinner service. The next day, Trev talked to Heather about how Scotley was a complete douchebag during the punishment. During prep, he tried to get a bit of organization going in the red kitchen, but that led into another argument between him and Scotley until Bret had to break it up.

During dinner service, he was on the fish station with Jose. At one point, Jose kept micromanaging his work, much to his annoyance, but they were rejected for being raw.

When Jose's attempt was rejected, he had enough, cooked the third attempt by himself, and it was finally accepted. However, his sent up burnt salmon, leading Jose to take over again. When the blue team came to help the men out, he snapped at Kanae to help Jose out on fish.

During deliberation, Trev was considered for elimination by Bret and Motto, and when Scotley and Jose remembered the first two salmons that were sent up burnt, he took responsibility for them, but argued that Jose took more control of fish that night, and failed. But, Scotley argued that his were only poorly cut, and he was blamed for the fucked up salmon, but he argued that those sat out due to the Wellingtons being slow. At elimination, Scotley accused Trev of being the weak link and running around with a clipboard, but he argued against that, and reminded the former how he slacked off during punishment making himself snacks.

He was named the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Scotley as the first, and they were joined by Jose. During his plea, Ramsay asked him about the clipboard comment, but he argued that it was a notebook, and was trying to find his voice since Season 8. When the Blind Taste Test was announced, Trev still remembered his poor performance back in Season 8, but was ready for that year. He was the first person from the red team to compete, and went up against Heather.

He failed to get all four of his ingredients correct, resulting in Jose getting all three punishments. After his turn, he was disappointed by his disastrous performance, not helping matters when the blue team roasted him for that.

During Motto's turn, he was spared from any punishments. The red team lost the challenge , and they were punished by cleaning up the dining room ahead of a private dinner service for two charities, polish all their silverware, and make fresh gelato by hand. When going back to the dorms, a despondent Trev felt like he made an ass of himself, and felt that his chances of winning the Executive Chef position were gone.

However, Heather told him it was not over yet, and encouraged him not to give up. During the punishment, he accidentally broke the churner needed for the gelato maker, with Motto accusing him of trying to sabotage them, as Bret and Jose mercilessly teased him for his poor performance. Already in a bad mood, he briefly left the kitchen to go back to the dorms to try and calm down.

During the Charity Night dinner service, Trev was cooking the scallops for Motto's course, but his first attempt had inconsistent searing on both sides, forcing the men to start over. When Ramsay asked about the large number of wasted scallops on a tray, he blamed Bret. He was in charge of the truffle carbonara course, and he and Kanae agreed on eight minutes.

He immediately got vocal with his teammates, and while he knew the men would get annoyed by his loud Irish ass, he wanted his course to be perfect. During the plating, he wanted sex on a plate for his presentation, and told the men to keep the carbonara rolled up tight and clean, with Sous Chef Christina pointing out how one of them was a perfect example, allowing him to send his course out first. On Jose's course, he was cooking the veal, but when about half of them were sent back for being raw, he accused Jose of dropping the ball, screwing the men by not doing his part and compared the raw veal to something from a horror movie, and then, a giant scab.

After, the men accused him of not owning up to his mistakes, and brown-nosing to Ramsay. Trev was named the red teams second nominee for elimination, with Jose as the first, but while he argued that the men nominated him for many reasons, including the accusations for brown nosing, Bret said that the men would be stronger without him. When Jose accused him of not taking responsibility of his mistakes, he argued that he worked with both Bret and Motto on the scallops and veal respectively, and felt that he did not make any mistakes on those courses.

During his plea, he said that he was determined to win the Executive Chef position, and he proved it by bouncing back. He survived elimination, and while being dismissed, he knew that he could cook, and could two shits of what the others felt about him.

Back at the dorms, both Bret and Motto remained hostile towards Trev, but he refused to give up as that would be the biggest insult towards Ramsay. The next day, he did a mock "Good Day HK" news report of the dorms. During the Dessert Challenge, Trev got irritated when Bret decided to do arancini balls as the former kept doing Italian foods, and asked if he was Rocky Balboa. Then, he was confident that his healthy dessert was going to work, but Motto thought he was getting overconfident.

He was the final person from the red team to have his dish judged, and went up against Ariel. He made avocado kisses, but despite being confident that they would well-received, Valerie Gordon brutally criticized the dish for being everything she hated about healthy eating mixed in desserts, being soggy, and compared the taste to a bush. So, he scored 2 points. The red team lost the challenge , and they were punished by taking in deliveries of pounds of ice, and properly cutting them into ice cubes for service.

As they were dismissed, Trev remarked to Ramsay that he had been in all but one punishment since the competition began. During the punishment, he decided to work alone as he did ice-breaking before, but he and the other two struggled with the task.

Later, he managed to get a perfect ice cube, but Motto reminded him that one cube was how much he got on the previous challenge. But, when he disregarded it as a personal opinion, Bret got angry by that as Valerie Gordon was a well regarded pastry chef. However, he did not care if Bret and Motto hated him as he needed to get to black jackets so he would be by himself, before smashing the ice block with a hammer, and commenting that the men were not bonding at all as the other two wanted him gone.

During prep, Trev asked to speak to Sous Chef Christina privately as he wanted to look into more possibilities after the competition, before accusing his teammates of not listening to him. After, Sous Chef Sous Chef Christina told him that they can discuss opportunities after the competition even if he did not win.

During dinner service, he was on the meat station. While he was confident about the placing of the men, Bret and Motto did not respond to his questions, much to his annoyance as he compared it to a library. While Bret sent up his halibut, he was late on the Wellington and sent up a raw piece. Even worse, Ramsay saw the test version had a better cook on it, told him to cook that for one more minute, and berated the men for their insufficient teamwork.

While Bret was angry about that, he knew that Ramsay was only riding his ass because he wanted to see how well he could bounce back, with the latter urging him to get a grip. When Ramsay asked him how he forgot the lamb crust, he argued that he never did one before and that he forgot, irritating Bret.

Then, he served an overcooked portion of lamb, leading to an irritated Ramsay to send the men to the pantry room, berated them for not finding their stride, and called the overcooked lamb the biggest insult. The final mistake he made was sending up a broken Wellington, and it was one of the two dishes that led to Ramsay kicking the red team out of the kitchen. The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate one person for elimination. Then, he and Bret bickered about who performed worse that night.

During elimination, Ramsay asked the men what happened, Trev said there was no communication from the team, and that he was fighting for feedback from Motto and Bret, though the two argued against that.

Despite being labeled by Bret as the weakest chef on the red team, he argued that the latter was a one-trick pony for cooking only Italian food.
